projekt202 took part in BarnRaise Dallas, which connected design leaders, community-based organizations, and participants to tackle local social problems.

The unique two-day event was organized and hosted by Capital One's AdaptivePath.org.

Over the two-day period, BarnRaise participants worked in multidisciplinary teams to develop user-centered understandings of a problem posed by a Dallas-area nonprofit.

The four-person projekt202 team partnered with Youth with Faces, a Dallas nonprofit that provides youth in the juvenile justice system with the skills needed to break the cycle of incarceration and create positive futures. By giving them employable skills and a much-needed support network, Youth with Faces helps young men and women recognize their potential through critical job, social and life skills.

projekt202 is proud to be an active supporter of our local design communities and the outstanding work performed by area nonprofits such as Youth with Faces.



I fully believe leaders aren’t chosen; they’re made. projekt202 presents a lot of opportunities and you just have to be willing and persistent enough to go get them. It’s really all about what you want to do and the impact you’d like to make.

Internet of Things Meetup in Austin

projekt202 hosted our Austin tech community for a “Corporate Innovation with the Internet of Things” panel.

It was standing room only for an IoT Central networking event and discussion on the rapid changes that IoT is bringing to the corporate world.

projekt202’s Vice President of Technology Paul Tidwell, Dell’s Marketing Director of IoT Kirsten Billhardt, Under Armour’s Senior Engineering Manager Brant Winterbottom, and FutureAir’s Co-Founder Michael Wang shared real-world examples of companies successfully innovating with IoT.

“The event turnout and feedback proves that IoT is top of mind for Austin’s leading companies,” said Russ Bair, projekt202’s General Manager in Austin. “Hosting this discussion was a great way to bring together some of Austin’s top business minds for an in-depth look at IoT’s promises and challenges. We’re committed to supporting our tech community throughout Central Texas and driving those experiences that ultimately best serve our customers.”
