projekt202 UX Designers Teach Portfolio Best Practices at UT Dallas

projekt202 teamed with the UX Club at UT Dallas for a portfolio workshop this month.

Senior UX Designers Chelsea Maxwell, Lan Nguyen and Daniel Sanchez; UX Designer Lindsey Norman; Talent Coordinator Jessica Hart; and Vice President of Customer Experience Jeremy Johnson guided students through the portfolio design process at the March 1 event. The team shared tips for standing out in the UX design field.

Among the professional insights for the UTD students:

  • Show variety in your portfolio
  • Be prepared to explain your process
  • Incorporate metrics creatively
  • Incorporate user flow diagrams
  • End your presentation with a project that leaves your audience wanting more

“We’re always happy to collaborate with the student organizations at UTD," Jeremy said. "Our team had a great time helping students improve their portfolios for their entrance into the job market and we're looking forward to working with UTD interns in our office."

projekt202 sincerely thanks the members of the UX Club for their outstanding teamwork and participation, as well as the students, faculty and staff at The University of Texas at Dallas

The future of UX design is really bright. Fortunately, Jeremy Johnson, Lindsey Norman, Daniel Sanchez and Chelsea Maxwell never leave home without their projekt202 shades.
