Captura Merges with projekt202, Positions for Rapid Expansion

New Company Expects to Double Dallas Operations and Expand Nationally

DALLAS, TEXAS, August 31 – Dallas-based Captura, a digital marketing, application development and user experience design firm, has merged with Austin-based user experience studio projekt202. As part of the merger, Captura becomes projekt202 and is now headquartered in Dallas.

The new projekt202 is poised to kick-off a rapid expansion throughout Texas, select U.S. cities and abroad in anticipation of doubling its nearly 100 combined headcount in 24 months.

The merger creates a variety of changes in the management structure. Keith Jacobs, former CEO of Captura, is now CEO and Mike Collins, general manager of Captura, is now COO of the new projekt202. Jeff Steinberg, co-founder and formerly the CEO of projekt202, becomes general manager of the Austin office and Peter Eckert, co-founder and chief creative officer, becomes chief experience officer of the combined entity.
