1300 Guadalupe
1300 Guadalupe is a real-life case study of how businesses are addressing commercial sustainability requirements in today’s economy. Occupying a prime city block in downtown Austin, this neglected 1960’s era structure was waiting to be transformed into a modern office building serving the needs of today’s urban workforce.
In repositioning it in late 2009, the architect and builder created a modern, sustainable 52,000 square foot office building, involving the repurposing of an existing structure as well as construction of two new floors. The new structure is a certified one-star green building.
As one of the first and largest tenants, projekt202 occupies nearly 9,000 square feet on the 3rd floor of the building. Our new home allows us to cultivate a creative spirit and at the same time enjoy great views of the Texas State Capitol building and the downtown Austin skyline.
